I'm an elite businessman.
So elite, in fact, that a rival company tried to hire me.
Headhunting, ya' know?
I wasn't happy with the conditions, though.
They offered to start me at the same salary I make now, but with a $100 raise each month.
Where I work now I get a $5000 raise each year.
"You expect me to work for less money?" I said. They just looked at me funny and retracted the offer.
I wonder why?
With monthly $100 raises he would have made $6600 in raises in the first year, and $14,400 in raises in the second year.
That's better than $5000 in raises each year.
