Lesson 1: Authorware's Icons
 Authorware programs are initially set up by dragging "Icons" to the Authorware "Flowline." The icons available are shown in the Tool Palette the right. Click on each icon  on the Palette to see the name of each and a brief description of how it is used.

The "Flowline" in the authoring environment looks like the picture below before icons are added.
