Overview

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask was originally released on Nintendo 64, and now it has been fully remastered on Nintendo 3DS with new visuals, controls and features.

In this fan favourite title in The Legend of Zelda series, regarded as one of Link’s greatest adventures, you must travel across a doomed land, wearing various masks to transform and use unique special abilities, solve tricky puzzles, explore intricate dungeons and fight fierce enemies.

Join Link as he seeks to save the land of Termina from a crushing fate – in three days, the moon will crash down and destroy everything and everyone in its path. By using the magical Ocarina of Time, Link must travel through time, re-living the same three days over and over again, to prevent calamity and save the world.

A new look

The graphics of the original title have been overhauled and improved, bringing the adventure to life like never before, while still remaining faithful to the Nintendo 64 original. Take a look around the world with the Nintendo 3DS system’s motion controls. You can also use the Nintendo 3DS Circle Pad Pro (sold separately) on Nintendo 3DS or the New Nintendo 3DS system’s C Stick to adjust your view!

A touching tale

Access items more easily than ever with the Touch Screen. Now you can select your equipment with a mere tap on the menu screen, and also look at maps and assign Button items in seconds!

Beat the clock

Keep track of all your quests in the revamped Bombers’ Notebook – you can even set up alarms so you don’t forget about any special events, and see where the action is on your map with a quick tap of the Touch Screen! Time waits for no man, but it’s easier to stay on time than ever with this handy tome!

Save the day

Thanks to owl statues and quill statues found throughout Termina, you can now save your adventure at any time. But be warned: returning to the dawn of the first day no longer automatically saves your progress.

Go fish

Need a break between dungeons? Visit a fishing hole, wear a variety of masks to catch different kinds of fish and see what you can snag! Make sure you get a permit first though – you’re not allowed to fish without a Fishing Hole Pass!

Get a clue

If you’re feeling a little lost, seek out a Sheikah Stone to get a hint on how to move ahead. Crawl in to see visions, in the form of Hint Images and Hint Videos, that point you towards objectives – or even helpful items!
