Quiz: Which Piece of Advice From a Disney Cat Should You Take?
Britt Valerio
Oh My Disney Contributor
We think it’s fair to say that everybody wants to be a cat. Sadly, we aren’t actually fabulous felines in real life, but we think the next best thing is to take advice from Disney cats. (After all, cats have nine lives, so they should have some excellent life advice to share!) Each Disney cat has a different personality, so find out which cat’s words you should live by:
The perfect afternoon is:
If I were a cat, I’d like my bed to be:
When I wake up in the mornings, I:
I would describe my personality as:
My favorite thing about cats is that they’re:

A really bad cat pun I might actually say is:
You should take advice from Marie!
“Ladies don’t start fights, but they can finish them!” Sassy words, Marie! And accurate. Marie also advises that ladies should go first, so take heed gentleman!
You should take advice from the Cheshire Cat!
“Most everyone’s mad here.” Truth. Also, the Cheshire Cat’s pink and purple stripes are truly an inspiration.
You should take advice from Lucifer!
Okay, it’s true that Lucifer doesn’t actually speak words in Cinderella. But we think this image emanates his life philosophy: To milk situations for all they’re worth, be pampered as much as possible, and to lounge with attitude.
You should take advice from Mittens!
“You should stop jumping off trucks doing 80 on the interstate!” If you are jumping off trucks doing eighty on the interstate, please don’t. It’s not safe. We can thank our favorite stray cat from the movie Bolt for this sound advice.
You should take advice from Thackery Binx!
These words from Hocus Pocus are courtesy of Thackery Binx who spends the majority of this classic Halloween movie as a talking black cat: “Take good care of Dani, Max, you’ll never know how precious she is until you lose her.” Although his advice is directed at Max, we think the overall message applies to all of us.
You should take advice from Thomas O’Malley!
This advice is coming to you in song form from The Aristocats: “I don’t worry what road to take. I don’t have to think of that. Whatever I take is the road I make.” This cat knows where it’s at! May these lyrics remind you to forge your own path no matter where you roam.

You should take advice from Mufasa!
As Mufasa says in cloud form, “Remember who you are.” We’ll never forget this moment in The Lion King, and we’ll never forget these words. Mufasa also advises young Simba, “Being brave doesn’t mean you go looking for trouble.” (While Mufasa is technically a lion, we feel that this advice is too important not to share. And after all, big cats are cats, too!)
You should take advice from Mr. Whiskers!
Are you ready for this advice? Here it is: “Meow.” Okay, that wasn’t really advice, but don’t be fooled by it’s simplicity. We know from the movie Frankenweenie that Mr. Whiskers is psychic and when Mr. Whiskers dreams about you, something big is going to happen! We hope he dreams about you soon.
You should take advice from Rufus!
“Faith is a bluebird you see from far. It’s for real and as sure as the first evening star. You can’t touch it, or buy it, or wrap it up tight, but it’s there just the same, making things turn out right.” This quote from The Rescuers gets us every time. He’s like the grandpa cat we never had!
