An AC adapter is not included with the Nintendo 3DS XL

The Nintendo 3DS XL requires a Nintendo 3DS AC adapter which is sold separately.

If you already own a Nintendo 3DS/DSi XL/DSi...
...you will be able to use the AC adapter included with these systems.
