This weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, we were treated to a glimpse at Season 7 of Once Upon A Time and we have so many questions and thoughts. When we attended the Once Upon a Time panel at D23 Expo the previous weekend, we learned that Season 7 would start off with a grown up Henry who now lives in Seattle. Similar to when Henry approached Emma Swan in Season 1, a young girl named Lucy finds Henry and tells him she is his daughter. We also found out that Henry will find himself in an entirely new forest with new versions of the characters, like Cinderella, who will be played by Dania Ramirez. The sneak peek from San Diego Comic-Con gave us even more insight:
Let’s break down that opening voice over: “Do you remember the battles fought? The lives lost? The heroes that vanquished? The villains who conquered? Do you remember the struggle to reclaim their happy endings? Now it’s all about to begin. Again.” Loving this! Creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis assured us at D23 Expo that everything in the past will mean something in the new season, and this quote from the first look supports that sentiment. Here are some other questions and thoughts we had:
- Lucy is the best already. “My name’s Lucy. I’m your daughter.” Tell it like it is, Lucy!
- Loving that full moon.
- Red caped Henry running through the forest is everything. And then he’s in a cave with a sword .What is coming after him???
- “A new curse awakens.” WHAT IS THIS NEW CURSE?
- Evil Queen is fierce as ever!
- Cinderella! We’re already in love with this character.
- Hook! Guyliner intact, and ready to start a new story.
- Mr. Gold! What’s he up too?
- That glass slipper breaking! WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!
We are super excited for the new storyline and all the possibility it holds. Bring on Season 7 of Once Upon a Time!
