Tips and FAQ

  • Note that short words are worth even less honey on Hard. For example, a 3-letter word on Easy is worth 2 honey, and that same 3-letter word on Hard is only worth 1 honey.
  • The Tumble Bees dictionary contains 2 - 10 letter words. Proper names, slang, and abbreviations don't count.
  • Instead of clicking each letter, try clicking-and-dragging over the letters to select them.
  • Instead of clicking on the Submit button, try right-clicking to submit.
  • Harder difficulty levels are definitely harder, but they also allow you to earn more progress and get a higher score.
  • For the highest score, try playing on Hard and spelling lots of Buzz Words.
  • Try spelling the Buzz Word to turn all the tiles green, then use a Blue tile to clear lots of tiles and get the bonus!
  • To more easily spell the Buzz Word, use a Blue tile; the game will clear other tiles, and leave wildcards and letters in the Buzz Word.
  • Blue tiles only appear when the board is mostly full, and after some time has passed since the last Blue tile.
  • New letters always drop in the shortest columns.
