Blast First Sci-Fi edition Game Instructions Welcome to 'Blast First - Sci Fi Edition', a cutting-edge 3D "deathmatch" style first person shooter. Battle your way through several levels in a 'tournament style' competition of armed combat. You progress from level to level by defeating a series of opponents in this competition of armed combat. Scattered around each level are weapons, ammunition, health packs, armour and various other power-ups that can be picked up and used by you and your opponents alike. Be sure to collect armour and health packs to protect yourself from enemy fire and heal your injuries. Collecting weapons will improve your combat effectiveness and top up your ammunition supplies. Controls : Use the [arrow keys] to move and rotate. Hold down the [z] while pressing [left arrow] or [right arrow] to step sideways, as opposed to rotating ( in other words, [z] is the strafe key). Press [space bar] to fire your current weapon, and press the [number keys 1-5] to select a weapon. Press [Esc] at any time to open the 'Options Menu' (this also pauses the game). Weapons Weapon Selection Key Description Fusion Pistol 1 This is your standard issue default weapon. All players start off each round with this weapon. Not a very powerful weapon, nor does it have a high rate of fire, so you had better search the combat area for a better weapon quickly! Fusion Repeater 2 This weapon uses the same type of ammuniation as the standard issue Fusion Pistol (above), but with a much higher rate of fire. The main drawback is a relatively high recoil, which can adversely affect your aim after prolonged firing. Ion Projector 3 This is a very powerful all-round weapon, which fires 3 bursts with each shot. This weapon is effective at both long and short range, but has a high recoil factor, so aim carefully between each shot. Laser Rifle 4 This weapon is extremely accurate and powerful and can take out your targets with a single shot (usually with devastating results). Very deadly over long ranges, but somewhat cumbersome during short-range up-close fighting. It has an extremely long recharge time, and hence low rate of fire, so be sure to make each shot count. PBG 3000 5 This extremely powerful weapon fires a single explosive plasma projectile which will most likely annihilate anyone it hits or nearly hits. It has a huge blast radius so aiming is less critical with this weapon.   Successful completion of each level will automatically unlock the next level for you to advance through the tournament. You will also be given a pass-code which will allow you to start again from the same point the next time you visit the website to continue playing. Follow the on-screen instructions at the level completion screen. Health and Armour Be sure to replensish your health and armour by picking up the power ups scattered around each level.
