Blast First Game Instructions Welcome to 'Blast First', a cutting-edge 3D "deathmatch" style first person shooter. Battle your way through several levels in a 'tournament style' competition of armed combat. You progress from level to level by defeating a series of opponents in this competition of armed combat. Scattered around each level are weapons, ammunition, health packs, armour and various other power-ups that can be picked up and used by you and your opponents alike. Be sure to collect armour and health packs to protect yourself from enemy fire and heal your injuries. Collecting weapons will improve your combat effectiveness and top up your ammunition supplies. Controls : Use the [arrow keys] to move and rotate. Hold down the [z] while pressing [left arrow] or [right arrow] to step sideways, as opposed to rotating ( in other words, [z] is the strafe key). Press [space bar] to fire your current weapon, and press the [number keys 1-5] to select a weapon. Press [Esc] at any time to open the 'Options Menu' (this also pauses the game). Weapons Weapon Selection Key Description Pistol 1 This is your standard issue default weapon. All players start off each round with this weapon. Not a very powerful weapon, nor does it have a high rate of fire, so you had better search the combat area for a better weapon quickly! Sub Machine Gun 2 This weapon uses the same type of ammuniation as the standard issue pistol (above), but with a much higher rate of fire. The main drawback is a relatively high recoil, which can adversely affect your aim after prolonged firing. Shotgun 3 This is a very powerful short-range weapon, which can obliterate targets with a single well aimed shot (if fired at a close enough range). This weapon suffers from a long reload time, and relative innacuracy over long ranges. Napalm Ejector 4 This weapons simultaneously launches and ignites small quantities of napalm at very high rates. Reasonably effective at both long and short range, however requires a direct hit to do any real damage (due to a very small blast radius). Rocket Launcher 5 The most powerful weapon available to you, this weapon fires a single rocket projectile which will most likely annihilate anyone who is unlucky enough to be on the receiving end of it. Will also cause damage with a near miss, due to the medium sized explosive blast radius.   Successful completion of each level will automatically unlock the next level for you to advance through the tournament. You will also be given a pass-code which will allow you to start again from the same point the next time you visit the website to continue playing. Follow the on-screen instructions at the level completion screen. Health and Armour Be sure to replensish your health and armour by picking up the power ups scattered around each level.
