How to play Glinx!
Object:
Remove all of the pieces on each level by linking matching pieces together.
How to play:
Link matching pieces by clicking on them, creating a chain. To add a piece
to your chain, it must be reachable by making only 2 turns.
Once a chain has been created, you can click on the
last piece again to remove the chain from the board. You can also
"back up" in the chain by clicking on one of the other pieces.
A chain must have at least 2 pieces in it to be removed, but longer chains
mean more points!
Special Pieces:
The Linker -
These piece can be used with any other pieces, and it allows you to
extend the chain using that same color piece.
The Switcher -
These pieces can be added to any chain, and then you can extend the chain using
a different kind of piece. This lets you create very long chains.
Pyramid -
These symbols appear later in the game and cannot be removed. You must
find a way to remove the other pieces while these stay in your way.
The Glinx -
Reach level 8 and meet The Glinx. The glinx can match any chain and it always
ends that chain immediately, but The Glinx remains. You also get bonus points when you use The Glinx. The Glinx
is your savior when time is running short, if used wisely.
Levels:
To move on to the next level of play, you must remove all of the pieces (except
the special pieces) before time runs out. In practice mode, you get as long as you need.
